Short tension cables: More opportunities - same safety
Are the standard tensioning cables of the tensioning equipment (uneven bars, high bar, etc.) too long for the conditions in your gym? Then we have the solution:
It is possible to order those apparatuses with short tension cables that differ from the standard/competition ones. However, such modifications can affect the safety and characteristics of the apparatus, which is why they should be chosen with care.
To ensure a balance between stability and functionality, we only offer tested tension cable lengths. These can be found in the table below, which allows you to select the appropriate length for your apparatus.
Selecting and adjusting the length of the cables is therefore a balancing act between space conditions, stability and maintaining training and competition characteristics. With our specific lengths, we aim to offer you the best possible combination of safety and functionality. Competition equipment such as our ‘Munich’ uneven bars are limited to a maximum tension of 4.5 x 4 meters, for example, as shorter cables would lead to a very high basic tension. This would reduce both, stability/safety and the individual Newton meter adjustment range, which can lead to disadvantages for gymnasts.
Please note when ordering tensioning apparatuses that are to be used with short tension cables:
Order the apparatus WITHOUT tension cable according to the attached table
Also select the appropriate short tension cable from the table
Your order therefore consists of two article numbers per device.

Built-in shock absorbers and additional special spring system reduce the jolt on the joints and also the peak forces. Safety frame made of square steel tubing with individual components with a maximum length of 2 m for easy transportation. Height adjustment in steps of 5 cm from 595 - 625 cm (overall height). Ring height adjustable in 2,5 and 5 cm increments between 275 - 305 cm (275 - 280 cm per 5 cm, 280 - 290 cm per 2,5 cm, 295 - 305 cm per 5 cm). The plastic-encased ropes for rings are attached by means of variable threaded sockets with a fine adjustment. Double cable tension system together with the licensed key-adjustment provide the device with great stability.

Uneven Bars "Kombi" with "Carboflex" rails
Special construction of Uneven Bars that can be easily converted into a one-bar system and used as a Horizontal Bar. Triple tension system with 2 quick tensioners ensures easy exchange or removal of the high or low rails and facilitates the height adjustment of the high rail from 215 to 280 cm. Standard supplied with 2 round fibreglass bars.
Upon request also available with an additional steel bar (Art. 4140705).
